Sam Osirim is currently Principal and Chief Operating Officer and a founding partner of Strategic Business Research (SBR), Inc., a healthcare market research and consulting company established in 1992 in the Greater Philadelphia region of Pennsylvania. His expertise is in healthcare market research and strategic planning.
A graduate of Harvard University, The London School of Economics, and Boston University’s Graduate School of Management, Sam has effectively and successfully applied his diverse training in psychology, economics, strategic planning and business management to his research and consulting efforts at SBR. Prior to establishing SBR, Sam worked for McNeil Pharmaceutical (Johnson & Johnson) in various management capacities in addition to positions in banking and economics research.
Sam has always been involved in professional and community service. On the professional side, Sam was a former President of the Pharmaceutical Marketing Research Group (PMRG), a national organization of pharmaceutical market research professionals in the U.S., and served on the Board of this professional organization for several years. Sam’s involvement in community organizations includes membership of the Nigerian Peoples Forum (NPF) where he has held the position of National Treasurer as well as a member of its Executive Council. Prior to this, Sam also served as Chair of NPF’s Delaware Valley Chapter and is currently an active member of the Board of Directors of the umbrella organization, AFRICOM in the Philadelphia area.
